Marine World Umino-Nakamichi : An Aquarium with a theme of Kyushu's seas, with 30,000 marine creatures of 350 species on display.

"Marine World Umino-Nakamichi" is an aquarium located in Fukuoka Prefecture. It reopened in 2017 as a "aquarium enjoyable for adults". With the theme of the seas of Kyushu, it exhibits 350 species and 30,000 marine creatures.

One of the popular attractions is the dolphin and sea lion shows, where they gracefully jump with Hakata Bay as the backdrop. During events like Golden Week and summer vacation, you can enjoy the "Night Aquarium" while admiring the night view of Hakata Bay.

Moreover, you can meet "Lilo," one of the three sea otters in Japan, who is cared for within the country.

There are plenty of events to enjoy, such as divers entering large tanks and filming sharks with cameras or feeding penguins.
