Amami Oshima is an island located approximately in the middle between Okinawa Island and Kyushu. In 2021, it was registered as a World Natural Heritage Site. Abundant water and suitable conditions for plant growth have resulted in lush primary forests, with mangrove forests being particularly famous. It's a treasure trove of rare flora and fauna found nowhere else, and the emerald blue sea is breathtakingly beautiful.

With a warm subtropical climate, Amami Oshima offers snorkeling and diving opportunities year-round, with the option to wear wetsuits or drysuits. Additionally, the island boasts numerous local delicacies, offering a gourmet experience. Tropical fruits like mangoes and passion fruits are particularly popular.

At ASA, we offer tours where you can fully enjoy experiences in Kyushu, including Amami Oshima. Please feel free to contact us with any inquiries.
