Nestled in the heart of Okaya city, the Okaya Silk Workshop stands as a beacon of traditional Japanese craftsmanship. This unique workshop specializes in processing and hand-dyeing silk, which is initially produced in the Miyasaka Silk Mill within Okaya. The silk is renowned for its distinctive texture and quality.

At the Okaya Silk Workshop, artisans create exquisite products that blend traditional hand-weaving techniques with a unique flair. The workshop has garnered attention for its high-quality weaving skills and expressive designs. This building is a registered Tangible Cultural Property, adding to the workshop's allure.
