Goto Islands : An island where time passes slowly, surrounded by azure seas and beautiful greenery

See this content in the original post

Goto Islands are remote islands consisting of 152 large and small islands located in the western part of Nagasaki Prefecture. These islands, with their untouched nature, also preserve a lot of historical sites related to events such as the dispatch of envoys to Tang China and the Christian culture. In 2018, the hidden Christian-related heritage of Nagasaki and the Amakusa region was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

There are plenty of tourist spots to see, such as the beautiful cobalt blue sea and churches that resonate with the history of Christianity. Visitors can enjoy various activities on the islands, including swimming, cycling, and fishing.

Moreover, Goto Islands, blessed with an abundance of seafood, are a gourmet paradise where you can savor fresh sashimi and Goto beef. Especially, the smooth texture of "Goto Udon" is a must-try delicacy when visiting Goto Islands.

At ASA, we offer tours where you can fully enjoy experiences at famous spots in Kyushu, including Goto Islands. Please feel free to contact us with any inquiries.
